Evan got his warming bed turned off today and hopefully will move to a crib by morning. He is eating at least 15 to 20 mls consistently every 3 hours and then they top him off with a tube feed. He is peeing and pooping like a pro and they might take his IV off some time tomorrow. He looks great but still tires out when doing anything like diaper and stats time. Hopefully he gets full of more vigor when they take the IV out. It sure looks sad on his head. We are so proud of Evan and the progress he made. We hope he figures out that sucking the bottle is good for him.
This is what his bed looks like and I'll put one up of his new one tomorrow.
Evan had more visitors today and I was lucky to get a picture of them. Here are two of the lifeflight nurses that took him to PCMC that Monday night. They told me he was a perfect patient and never cried.
Alex came back tonight and we hope to get some more good pictures of us and him together. It was hard doing it all on my own today because I was having asthma because of Salt Lake City smog. The pollution was terrible today. I think I had 200 cough drops.
