Our boy is ONE!!!

For some reason blogger isn't letting me put writing above the 3 pictures on top. They are of Evan at 1 day, 1 month and 2 months old.

I've had a lot of trouble with blogger the past few days. It has deleted pictures and texts and locked me out. So I'm trying one more time. One year ago this little boy was born that was itty, bitty. He weighed 6 lbs and 4 oz at 19 inches long. His hands, feet and head were big and we could tell he was going to be big. Now, Evan is roughly 26 lbs and 32 inches. What a lot of growing in 12 months!

Evan has only 2 bottom teeth still but eats like he has a whole mouth full. The other day we noticed he was grumpy and drooling and we looked in his mouth. Sure enough, 2 tops are coming in. The only problem they are his incisors so he is going to be a vampire baby for awhile!

For Christmas Evan had lots of presents and such a good time. He got Elmo pajamas, drum set, wooden hammer, blocks, race car set, phone, alphabet train, cars, dump truck, books, and clothes. Alex bought him some ropers but they were too small. He couldn't zip them up over his fat calves. So we might not be able to find him a pair of boots for awhile. He even bought them 2 sizes too big and they were torture to try to put on.

For Evan's birthday we had a cousin party where he had chocolate cupcakes that looked like a monkey. He didn't seem to understand it but he really liked all the attention. Since it was too soon after Christmas we didn't do presents. We just gave him cake which is good enough for him. This boy lives to eat.
