Evan's Day

This is Evan almost laughing/smiling. When he is really excited he just keeps his mouth open the whole time. It is so funny. He also drools a lot if he likes the toy. So far his favorite thing is the mirror that is on the floor mat toy. It is right by his face and he always leaves a two foot mark of drool on the mat when he is done playing with it.

He loves being on his tummy and would prefer it above any other thing. He thinks this blanket of teletubbies is wonderful because it is so bright. See how his hair looks blonde in the top picture but brown in this one? It really depends on the lighting.

He is starting to get chubby wrists.

This is right before bedtime on Daddy's lap. Alex holds him like a football because it's his favorite and he always falls asleep well.

This week we had to go to Grandpa P.'s funeral and we decided to bring him. There wasn't a lot of kids and we stayed out of everyone's way. Alex still wanted to show him off to people in the family and they all loved him. We are so glad that Grandma P. got to hold him and sorry that Grandpa never met him. Because of the funeral we rescheduled our pictures for this next Friday and will get them done. Evan is so healthy now and we can't wait till we can take him out.

Some fun facts about Evan:
1. He has super sonic hearing and when sleeping will complain if he hears you move. He knows if he complains long enough someone will come and put him in bed with us. (It's not always me, Alex loves to sleep with him)
2. He doesn't like to be wrapped up but needs it to fall asleep and stay asleep. If he isn't he will wake up in an hour because he is so wiggly.
3. He has cried maybe 10-15 minutes the whole time we have had him. This has been a blessing and a curse. We would love it if he cried awake hungry. He just smacks his lips and grunts when he wants attention. Luckily I wake up to it now.
4. He can fart as loud as a big person and does all the time.
5. He is very cuddly and one of the reasons Alex likes to put him in bed with us.
6. He will belch in your face and blow milk particles every time if you put him over your shoulder.
7. He sleeps for only three hours at a time and then wants to eat. This is better then his two hour schedule that he had.
8. The cat has licked his head already when he is sleeping.
9. He loves diaper changes and will sit naked for as long as you will let him.
10. He also farts during bath time when he first hits the water. I guess this is better than pooping in it but we fear that will be his next step.
