Hopefully we come home soon!!

His face when he needs to burp. He is so funny about it and has very loud man belches. We also love that he has this look a lot.

Evan is starting to be more awake and wanting to interact with us. He has a very serious look and he loves to watch what everyone is doing and moves his head to different noises all the time. He especially loves Alex's voice because he is one of the only men around. All of his nurses so far have been women.

This is Sarah feeding him. He guzzles his food a lot now and doesn't need a feeding tube anymore. In the isolation room everyone has to wear masks just in case. He also still has oxygen when he needs it and Primary Children's is very careful with newborns. They told us that when we go home we will take a tank and monitor for when we need it. So far they are training us on how to use all the equipment. We are excited to go home soon. We love this little man and just want him to be healthy. Everyone's prayers have been felt and his lungs are just fine. He doesn't cough that much (usually when he eats too fast) and not a lot of suctioning anymore. The bulb syringe is all that is needed if he gets a little stuffy which has been only twice a day so far. The oxygen is used for when he sleeps really heavy and turned off when he is awake. He is such a good patient and the nurses favorite. They never have babies that are big enough to hold and cuddle and they just spoil him. Especially now that he is one on one.

Sarah-
Hey the girls here at work told me about your blog and your new baby. I am so happy that you guys are parents! Evan is adorable and I can't think of a more deserving couple to get him. I hope all goes well and your little family can come home soon.
Best,
