He's a Trooper!

Evan is doing really well. He at least has 70% of his feeds by bottle and the rest by tube. He likes the room to be really quiet and no lights when he is feeding. He also doesn't like all the beeping sounds from the other monitors around. He wants to sleep and loves to sleep in your arms as long as you don't talk! To anyone! For the most part I lay him down after every other feeding and hold him the rest.

Here is one of the few times his eyes are open and he isn't squinting.

He has a lot of "worried" looks when he wakes up. We guess that could happen if you are used to being poked unexpectedly.

Alex has to work and so he won't see him until Friday. He calls after every feed to see how he did though. We are excited for Evan to get better and it isn't unusual for baby boys to be a little behind. Of course boys are more immature! That just makes sense.

We love this little man!!
