Some of you might not know that I'm going to school to be a speech language pathologist. I'm in an Aural Rehab class and we talk a lot about cochlear implants or hearing aids and different ways to promote language growth. We are on a section about early cochlear implants and what benefits it brings to the child. Here is an activation video of a 8 month old boy who gets to hear his mommy. It will make your heart melt.

I loved this! I know a lot of deaf and hard of hearing people from my San Diego ward. Cochlear implants are such an amazing invention!
