Dear Friend,
As we sit and write this we are filled with many different emotions. We are sad for the trial you are facing and we feel respect for the choices that you have to make. We know that you will do what is right for you and the baby. We feel love towards you and the baby and hope that you also feel the love of your Heavenly Father. For He has given us strength through our trials and we know that He continually blesses our lives. We know that following Him, He will be able to bless your life as well.
Alex and I have been looking forward to having children and started trying from the beginning of our marriage. After a long time with doctors and a few miscarriages we decided to move forward with adoption. It was a choice that we thought about from the very start of our struggles and since we made the decision we know it's right. We have known someone that has been blessed through placing a child and still others that have received a child and can’t wait for this special experience so we can begin our family.
We were both raised by very similar families with the same values on education and agriculture. Both of our dads work for a college in an agricultural field. This has influenced many parts of our lives. Alex and I both have a love for ranching and horses and are working towards a place of our own. Alex competes in team roping in the summer and we both ride a lot in the mountains together. We both were raised competing in 4-H and state fairs and hope to carry this forward with our children.
When we are not spending time with horses we love to just be together. We are always laughing and joking. Alex and I are devoted to one another and our hobbies usually call for two. We cook, hike, camp, play sports, watch movies, and just love being outside together. We love to have fun and can’t wait to share all the fun with a child.
Alex and I have a great extended family and spend a lot of time with them. We are lucky to live near most of our family. They have been supportive through all our struggles and can’t wait for a new baby to add to the group. Both of our families gave us a great example of marriage and parenting. We feel ready to be parents and know that God has been watching out for us through this journey. We know that God is watching out for you too and helping you with your courageous decision.
